Kjersti runs the Animal Behavior Center’s branch in Romerike, Best 4 Dogs. She deeply values the people she meets along her path and finds fascination in the uniqueness of each individual and the distinct relationships they create with their dogs. Kjersti’s goal is always to ensure that dogs and their owners function well together when she shares her expertise, and she remains humble about who they are and what they can do. She has learned something from each of them, which she brings with her when meeting new teams seeking her help.
In addition to working with dogs and owners in courses and behavioral consultations, Kjersti has been dog-sitting in her own home since 2007. She has extensive knowledge of many breeds, especially those with particular challenges or special needs that require staying in a home when their family is away. With a bachelor’s degree in communication and work experience since the age of 14 in various service roles, Kjersti meets people with a smile and understanding. All questions are always welcome, and she is skilled at responding with relatable examples.
Kjersti is known for her ability to not only know how but also why. Clients say they feel involved in the decision-making process, with nothing being imposed upon them. She has a warm and inclusive personality, making learning from her a safe and pleasant experience. Both children and adults thrive with Kjersti as their instructor, as she adapts her teaching to each individual, and it seems the dogs appreciate her calm and gentle approach as well. Together with the team at the Animal Behavior Center, she employs updated methods and enjoys working in a strong professional environment.
Kjersti resides in Slattum, Nittedal.
