She has worked extensively with dogs frightened of veterinary visits and therefore also offers fear-free handling at the clinic. Gry is a knowledgeable, observant, attentive, and holistic-thinking veterinarian and instructor who works for the success of both two-legged and four-legged individuals. Gry’s use of well-founded scientific methods and her tireless commitment to spreading knowledge has helped gather and educate more and more professionals and behavior consultants in the country.

She has been a driving force in both the Norwegian Animal Behavior Group (NAS), which she helped start in 2000, and as one of the initiators and lecturers at NMBU’s behavior consultant program. She continuously works to share her knowledge on what causes and how to resolve problem behaviors in animals. As an educator and mentor, Gry is available for those who want to learn and never stops learning herself. Always curious and always up-to-date, Gry continues to build her own and others’ competencies.

Through the Animal Behavior Center (Dyreatferdssenteret), she realizes a lifelong dream of offering the best professional help for animals struggling to have a better life.

She has experience in treating most dog breeds and has owned the following dog breeds herself: Border Terrier, Border Collie, Cavalier King Charles, Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier, Miniature Poodle, French Bulldog, and English Springer Spaniel. She has also had cats at times and is fascinated by how they learn and how environmental development can improve quality of life.

Gry has experience with agility and nosework with her dogs.

Gry resides in Moss.
